Plans have been submitted to carry out improvements to Saltash Library which include creating an open-plan multi-functional workspace and upgrading toilet facilities.

The library, in Callington Road, will continue to be used as a library but with enhanced facilities.

The planning application includes proposals for the replacement of doors and windows, refurbishment with the removal of reception and office spaces to provide the open-plan area.

Existing toilet facilities will be upgraded and a new accessible toilet will be provided along with baby changing facilities.

As well as the planning application for the proposed works, a separate application has also been submitted for listed building consent.
