An outline planning application has been submitted by Ads Property Enterprises Ltd to build three homes on land to the rear of Hillcrest, Carlyon Bay, near St Austell.
The site is located to the north of Beach Road and to the east of Charlestown Primary School.
The proposed development site was formerly part of the garden to an empty house which is now undergoing renovations. Planning permission was recently granted for a single garage to serve that dwelling.
A pre-application enquiry was considered in February 2021, prior to the purchase by the current applicants, for the demolition of the existing bungalow and the erection of three dwellings.
The application was unsupported by survey or layout drawing and there were concerns that development might be cramped.
On the basis of advice, this outline application includes an indicative layout to demonstrate the capacity of the site and ability to accommodate the homes proposed.
