PEOPLE may still have an opportunity to visit one of Newquay’s most famous landmark cafes.

The owners of the Fern Pit Cafe, which has been open for 40 years, announced last year that the season would be its last as the premises was being sold.

But Start & Co Estate Agents is now offering a “once in a lifetime” opportunity for someone to take on a summer lease to run the café.

A spokesperson said: “The Fern Pit is renowned for its stunning views over the Gannel and Crantock Beach along with some of the finest crab sandwiches money can buy.

“Tender rental offers invited for the 2024 season.
