Residents and visitors flocked to Newquay’s beaches on Friday and Sunday as the town basked in spring like weather.

Many people enjoyed a walk whilst some of the more adventurous took a dip in their swimming costumes.

Robert Taylor, who captured the video, said: “There was a glimpse of Summer with no care for wetsuits. 

“It may be February but the sun is shining, and beachgoers dive in without a care, all because it is a balmy 6 degrees above the seasonal average of 49F.”
