PEOPLE in Newquay are being offered help with their hearing aids.

The Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) is offering free information and support as part of Deaf Awareness Week at Newquay Library on Friday, May 10 between noon and 2pm.

Various aspects of hearing aid maintenance will be available including cleaning, re-tubing and batteries.

A spokesperson for RNID said: “Your hearing is precious. Do you have hearing loss or tinnitus or know someone who does?

“For Deaf Awareness Week we are putting on this extra support session. Hearing aid maintenance is a free service for NHS hearing aid wearers.”
