Overnight road closures will be taking place at the Chiverton Junction on the A30 for National Highways to carry out work.

The Chiverton gyratory and slip roads will be closed from tonight (January 14) until January 17 and from January 20 to 24, between 8pm to 6am.

The closures will not have an impact on through traffic travelling on the A30 dual carriageway.

Diversions will be in place for motorists travelling to or from Truro and other locations. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journeys.

A spokesperson for National Highways said: “Following on from work in December, we will be implementing overnight closures of the Chiverton gyratory for finishing work on the verges, traffic islands, footpaths and supporting walls.”

“There will be nine nights of overnight closures, weeknights from January 14 to 17 and from January 20 to 24. This will include the slip roads and operate from 8pm to 6am.”
