Organisations in the Newquay area that are not for profit are being invited to hear about funding opportunities.
The Community Capacity Fund is staging a Funding Drop-in event at Newquay Library on Wednesday, April 17 between 11am and 1.30pm.
The event is specifically aimed at people who have limited or no prior experience with grant funding.
Councillor Louis Gardner said: “Are you a local group with a project that will benefit the community?
“Do you need initial funding to help get your project ready to start?
“Call in to Newquay Library to speak with the incredible team I work with who could help your dreams become a reality.
“I will also be on hand to help with any funding queries.”
A spokesman for the Community Capacity Fund added: “The event is specifically aimed at people who have limited or no prior experience with grant funding.
“It’s an excellent opportunity to explore the types of projects we can fund, and also learn about other potential funders who may be able to help with a community project.
“The team will be there to offer guidance on the application process and chat about people’s projects and ideas, offering any necessary support.”
