Newquay’s RNLI fundraisers are gearing up for a busy year to help save lives at sea.
A spring coffee morning will be held at the Griffin Inn on Saturday, March 22 between 10am and 12noon.
There will be the usual stalls including the ever-popular cakes and gifts as well as a raffle.
Entry is £3, which includes tea or coffee and a biscuit.
The shop at the harbour will reopen for the season, seven days a week between 10am to 4pm, on Saturday, April 5.
An Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the harbour sponsored by the Boathouse Restaurant on Easter Sunday, 20 April, from 10am to 12noon.
Participants will search for Stormy Stan’s boots, collect the letters and rearrange them to form a lifesaving phrase.
The entry is £3 per child and an Easter egg for every correct answer.
Collect entry forms from the stall at the harbour from 10am until noon, or when all the Easter eggs have been given away. There will also be a cake stall, a raffle and the opportunity to tour the lifeboat house
A music and fun event on the harbour beach in conjunction with the Boathouse Restaurant, which is titled Rock the Boats will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 1pm to 6pm. More details and the line up to be announced later.
