A protest calling for a ceasefire in the war between Palestinian group Hamas and Israel is set to take place in Newquay on Remembrance Sunday.
An event has been circulated on social media, saying that there will be a gathering to call for peace in the afternoon of Sunday, November 12.
It will begin at the Killacourt at 2.30pm.
Organisers for the event said that they wanted people to stand with them on armistice Sunday to echo the calls for ceasefire from World War I, and bring an end to a conflict they say has cost the lives of 10,000 people.
