A member of Towan Blystra Lions has formally taken on a new top position.

Lion Phil Bunt has has taken on the office of 2nd Vice Governor for Lions District 105SW, which extends across the south west from as far away as Portishead and Dorchester down to far south west of Cornwall.

The position is a totally voluntary and unpaid one, as are all Lions roles, and will involve working closely with this year’s district governor, Lion Kevin Moore from Yeo Valley, and 1st VDG Lion Richard Allen of Budleigh Salterton.

Their priorities will include helping the 51 Lions clubs across the district increase their membership and continue the support these groups provide their local communities with their activities and fundraising efforts.
