A prominent Newquay hotel has reached the final of a national spa awards.
The Headland has been shortlisted for the title of Best Destination Spa in the prestigious Good Spa Guide Awards 2024.
The awards celebrate the very best in spa excellence across the UK and recognise their increasingly vital role in supporting overall health and wellbeing.
The spa awards attracted more than 400,000 public votes last year and The Headland came top in the Best Spa in the South West category.
This year the public has until the end of May to cast their votes.
Spa manager Steph Curse said: “The Good Spa Guide is very close to our hearts, and we feel incredibly proud to have reached the finals for another year.
“It really is a huge testament to the Spa & AquaClub teams who are extremely passionate about the service and experience they provide.
“Our spa treatments cater to all ages and preferences, from Little Miss treatments to indulgent 85-minute Signature Rituals that pamper you from head to toe.
“We take joy in celebrating both big and small occasions, ensuring that every spa experience is top-notch,” she added.
The team is constantly looking at new ways to improve the guest experience.
They are currently working with VOYA, the organic seaweed-based products, to introduce five new treatments.
The Good Spa Guide uses a bubble rating system to rank each spa ranging from One Bubble up to a maximum Five Bubble Luxury.
The Headland Spa & AquaClub retained top marks in 2023 for its design, friendly staff, extensive pools, locally-sourced food, imaginative treatments and Atlantic views.
It offers a range of specialist spa treatments from radiance-boosting facials to couples’ spa experiences and relaxing massages in its six treatment rooms, including a VIP couple’s suite.
The spa thermal journey also hosts a hydrotherapy spa pool complete with bubble seats, swan jet, hot tub, Cornish salt steam room, Swedish sauna and aromatherapy showers.
