Newquay Foodbank is staging an open day to give people an opportunity to find out more about the organisation and support it offers.
Newquay Food Bank Open Day Welcomes Cornwall Mind will be held at St Michaels Church on Tuesday, August 29 between 10.30am and 2.30pm.
They will be joined by a host of organisations, sharing their knowledge and expertise on the day including Newquay Orchard, Storehouse, Age UK, Community Energy Fund, Co-op, South West Water, Community Pharmacy Cornwall, Transformation Cornwall and Whitehead-Ross Education and Consulting.
A spokesperson said: “Newquay Food Bank are excited to be hosting our upcoming open day.
"We are delighted to be collaborating with the team from Cornwall MIND, who will also be there on the day to chat to in a safe and welcoming space.
“Alongside our lovely partner organisations to chat with, there will also be a raffle, tombola, kids craft station and refreshments to enjoy.
“The event is free to attend, with no requirement to book and is open to all.
"Children are very welcome.
"We just ask that they are accompanied and supervised by an adult, at all times during the event.”
