A Newquay town councillor’s mobility scooter, which he relies on to get around, has reportedly been vandalised.

Councillor Dave Cheney’s scooter was daubed in white paint whilst parked in a car park in Trenance Road on Monday, October 1. He has reported the incident to the police.

Cllr Cheney said: “I parked my mobility scooter, upon which I rely heavily, on the car park outside my flat.I saw in the morning someone had poured a quantity of white emulsion paint over it. The police have been informed.”
