A Newquay charity is going from strength to strength after recruiting a new member.

Lion President Heather Stanley of Newquay Towan Blystra Lions formally badged the club’s newest member, Elkie Jones, at Newquay Beer Festival.

Heather and Elkie’s sponsor, Lion Monique Collins, let everyone know the importance of Lions and how much they value new members like Elkie during a break in proceedings on the main stage.

Elkie has already hit the ground running having been on a trip with Callington Lions and Sending Love to Ukraine, which sends aid to the war torn country.
