A new initiative is being launched dedicated to help Newquay become a greener place to live, work and visit.

Newquay Town Council is forming Climate Action Newquay, a new volunteer local steering group focused on climate action.

The authority is calling on residents, business owners, and environmental enthusiasts to join the initiative, which will aim to play a crucial role in shaping and implementing initiatives designed to reduce the town’s carbon footprint, enhance community resilience, and foster “a greener, more sustainable future for all.”

“Newquay Town Council is thrilled to announce the launch of Climate Action Newquay.
