Newquay Leisure World gave people the opportunity to try out its new outdoor functional fitness area and gym, plus a wide range of fitness classes, for free on Saturday.
There was also a chance to swim for £3 throughout the afternoon.
The community open day event marked the official opening of the functional fitness area by Newquay mayor Councillor Margaret North.
“We’re very proud of our new facility and were delighted to show it to off to the local community this weekend,” said GLL senior manager Amelia Kitchen.
“There were different classes running on the day for people to try for free – including group cycle, aerobics, kettlebells, body conditioning and a legs, bums and tums session.
“Our Cornwall Card means local residents can access Newquay Leisure World at discounted rates.”
