The Great Cornish Food project has launched a new range of awards to celebrate the county’s top standard bearers in food, drink, farming and fishing.

There will be eight awards, with three reflecting the positive roles the fishing, farming and food industries play in Cornwall’s future, in a changing world and climate.

Raising the Bar will recognise an organisation that has explored and implemented an idea or concept that is raising its business to a new level and inspiring others.

Growing People will recognise an organisation demonstrating the positive impact a people-first philosophy can have on business success and reputation.

Making a Mark will celebrate an organisation that has helped put the food and drink of Cornwall and/or the Isles of Scilly firmly on the map.

And In It Together will champion an organisation with a collaborative approach to business. From all of these, a Winner of Winners will be chosen to showcase everything that makes Cornish and Scillonian food and drink genuinely great.

The closing date for entries is Friday November 1, 2024, with the finalists due to be announced on Monday December 2, 2024. The winners will be announced at Nancarrow Farm near Truro on Thursday February 6, 2025.
