Rescue workers used specialist equipment to free a motorist trapped in a crashed car after a three-vehicle collision yesterday.
The accident happened at Penwinnick Road, St Agnes shortly before lunchtime.
Crews on a Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service pumping appliance and rescue tender from Tolvaddon were sent to the scene alongside police officers.
Crash rescue equipment was used to released one casualty into the hands of the ambulance service.
The injured person's condition is not known.
