What a brilliant Easter weekend it was here in Newquay, there was so much to see and do the whole weekend and I want to thank all those that made the effort for the children of Newquay to make this a special occasion.
Our team at the council delivered a brilliant event on the Killacourt with rides, egg hunt, kids disco and more, all free to access so everyone could join in, this was the best Easter I can remember in Newquay.
It has been great to have the children off from school over the past couple of weeks and see so many visitors back in Newquay for their holidays, with May Day and Whitsun just weeks away it is likely to be a very busy month in our town, this is great for our local economy.
Well done to Mark and the team at Bid for the bunting through town it is looking great and joined up through town. This weekend on Saturday evening the Newquay Singers will be performing at St Michael’s Church from 7pm.
If you are free pop down for some brilliant performances. Let’s not forget the Cornwall Council elections take place next Thursday 1st May, be sure to get out and exercise your right to vote.
