A MAN was airlifted to hospital after he reportedly fell off a cliff in Newquay on Thursday afternoon.
Cornwall Air Ambulance, RNLI lifeguards, Newquay and Padstow Coastguard rescue teams, ambulance and the police attended the incident at Tolcarne Beach at 2.30pm.

Police had initially been called to the area following concerns for the man’s welfare. The air ambulance took the man to hospital.
His condition is not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

A spokesperson for Newquay Coastguard said: “We wish the casualty a speedy recovery.”
The incident follows a woman’s sudden death after she fell from cliffs at the Barrowfields on Monday, May 20.
