A major route into Newquay has been closed following a two car collision on Friday morning (January 3).
The accident happened at Rialton Road at around 9.30am. Ambulance, police and the fire service are in attendance.
A police spokesperson said: “Police were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving two cars on Rialton Road, Newquay, at around 9.30am.
“Emergency services are at the scene. The extent of any injuries is not clear at this time.
“Local road closures have been put in place. The incident is ongoing.”
