A pensioner was taken to hospital and a main road in Truro was closed for seven hours after an accident yesterday (February 12).
Police were called to a single vehicle collision on the A390 at Higher Besore Road, Truro, shortly after noon.
The accident happened between the Langarth Park and Ride roundabout and Truro College Roundabout.
South West Ambulance Service and Cornwall Fire and Rescue were also called to the scene.
A 78-year-old driver was helped from the vehicle and taken to Treliske Hospital.
The section of the A390 was closed for seven hours while Police investigated the collision.
