AN attraction is inviting people to turn their homegrown apples into delicious apple juice using its authentic apple mill and press.
Locals with a bounty of homegrown apples can experience the traditional craft of apple pressing at Healeys Cyder Farm at Penhallow until Tuesday, November 5.
A spokesperson for Healeys said: “Whether you have an abundant orchard or a small backyard harvest, this is a unique opportunity to press your own apples in the heart of Cornwall.
“The farm’s easy-to-use equipment is available for just £5 per 90-minute slot, with all proceeds going to the Healeys Charitable Trust Fund. During this time, you’ll be able to produce up to 18 litres of fresh apple juice in just 30 minutes.
“Pressing slots are available daily from 10am to 4pm. Be sure to bring your own apples and containers to store the freshly pressed juice, as pressing apples are not sold on-site.
“The apple press is open to customers aged 16 or over, so whether you’re an apple juice-making enthusiast or trying your hand at pressing for the first time, this is the perfect activity to embrace the season’s bounty.
“Celebrate the harvest and experience the joy of creating your own apple juice at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm this autumn.”
