AN evening of live music is being held at St Austell Library in aid of the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust.

Library staff and members of SALSA (St Austell Library Support Association) will be hosting the event with Beatnik Skiffle and The Drecklys on Friday, July 12, at 6.30pm.

A spokesperson said: “Beatnik Skiffle have a wide musical repertoire including blues, folk and so much more. The Drecklys are an all-female shanty group singing traditional songs.

“Come along, have a singsong, join in and have a boogie as well.

“Tickets, which need to be pre-booked, are £5 each to include a drink and some nibbles.”
