The landmark hotel at Watergate Bay has unveiled its ambitious expansion plans.
The Watergate Bay Hotel proposes to redevelop a large part of its own site and the former Tregurrian Hotel on Trevarrian Hill, which is opposite.
The scheme involves constructing a six and seven storey building on the site of the former Tregurrian Hotel, which would include nine holiday apartments, a gym, studio and treatment rooms, restaurant, hotel staff wellbeing area and store rooms with decked car parking at the rear.
The erection of a two-storey building on the existing private XA car park for 12 beach loft hotel suites.
A landmark pavilion for food and beverage outlets and a small convenience shop for the public at the front pf the XA car park site, which would replace existing containers.
The plans also aim to a create a more pedestrian friendly centre to Watergate Bay, and a new bridge connection from the XA site to the main Watergate Bay Hotel site.
