Bookings are about to open for Cornwall Cricket Board’s All Stars and Dynamos Cricket programmes for children aged 5 to 11 from across the county.

Designed and supported by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the eight-week programmes run nationally, with 39 Cornish cricket clubs taking part.

Chris Anderson, CCB school and club development officer, said: “Both programmes offer a fun and exciting introduction into the wonderful sport of cricket in a real club environment.

“All centres have qualified activators to run the programmes and all equipment is provided. There are no restrictions as to who can join - cricket is a game for anyone.”

CCB provides adults and children aged five and upwards with the opportunity to take part in the sport across the county. It is also the official governing body for all cricket in Cornwall and is responsible and accountable to the ECB for the strategic management, development and conduct of the sport.

Booking opens on Wednesday, April 10. Visit ecb.co.uk/play/all-stars for All Stars and via ecb.co.uk/play/dynamoscricket for Dynamos.
