THE history of Cornish tourism will be the subject of a forthcoming talk.
Expert Louis Turner will be giving the presentation on behalf of the Newquay Museum Group at the Great Western Hotel function suite on Wednesday, September 18 at 7.30pm.
The talk will cover from the 18th century to today.
Louis is an author of The Golden Hordes: International Tourism, a trustee of the Roval Cornwall Polytechnic Society, and a lecturer and researcher on Cornwall's tourism history.
Len Sheppard from Newquay Museum said: “All are welcome to come along to our wide-ranging Cornish related talks and events and help make it an interesting and sociable evening. The event is free, but a donation to enable us to organise more and varied future events would be most appreciated.”
