PEOPLE have been benefiting from help to keep their hearing aids in good working order.

The Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) is offering free information and support at St Michael’s Church Hall every third Thursday of the month between 10am and noon.

Various aspects of hearing aid maintenance will be available including cleaning, re-tubing and batteries. Free three minute hearing checks are also offered.

Hearing aid maintenance is a free service for NHS hearing aid wearers.

Forthcoming dates include June 20, July 18, August 15, September 19, October 17, November 21 and December 19.
