A GYM has pencilled in a giveaway to provide every student at a Newquay secondary school stationary for the forthcoming academic year.

WAX Gym in Tretherras Road is offering the free school supplies to more than 1,000 students at Newquay Tretherras.

Sam Karkeek from WAX Gym said: “We're excited to provide the basic stationery.

“In previous years, we've supported a few hundred families with our school supplies giveaway. This year, we're incredibly proud to extend our support to an entire school of over 1,000 students.

“While running a business is challenging right now, it's crucial for companies to support their local communities in any way they can.”
