VETERAN actor Larry Lamb has been given a tour of Cornwall.

The actor, who is known for his roles in Gavin and Stacey, and EastEnders, was given the tour by Cornwall Ambassador Shane Solomon.

Larry had a morning sea swim at Porthpean and then went on to Porthpean Golf Club, meeting the general manager, Mark Grieve, and golfing regulars including Barry Carhart and Vic Rodd.

He then greeted volunteers at the Cornwall Air Ambulance charity shop in Mount Charles, St Austell, before going on to the charity’s headquarters at Newquay. With Shane, he spent some time in Newquay before visiting Truro and Penzance.
