The gardeners who help make Trenance Gardens so beautiful have been rewarded for their efforts.

Cormac gardeners Rex Cook and Stuart Lutherborrow have been presented with a five star award from South West in Bloom following Trenance Gardens being entered in the Parks Award Competition last year.

Newquay in Bloom was awarded the accolade at The South West In Bloom seminar and decided to give it to the gardeners to recognise all of their hard work.

Rex and Stuart received the award on behalf of the people who are involved in the gardening at Trenance Gardens, which also includes Teresa Buzza, Chris Wasley as well as volunteers Malcolm and Michelle.
