People protesting against a demonstration against asylum-seekers being housed in a Cornwall hotel have so far outnumbered protesters.

Chanting slogans including "refugees are welcome here", they have been waving placards as they gather in front of the Beresford Hotel in Newquay, where asylum seekers are staying while their applications are processed by the Home Office.
