A FUNDRAISING appeal has been launched after a dog was hit by a car to help cover the urgent surgery that is needed.

Theresa McColl has started the GoFundMe after her beloved dog Vincent was run over on December 28.

She has exhausted Vincent’s insurance funds and is now asking for support to help cover the remaining costs. So far, £800 has been raised toward the £1,300 goal.

Theresa said: “Vincent escaped from home and was tragically run over by a neighbour.

“He was found stuck under a van, badly injured, and rushed to the vet.

“While he has multiple small injuries, his leg has been severely damaged and requires surgery costing £2,800.”
