FUNDRAISERS are limbering up to be splatted by all the colours of the rainbow.
Children’s Hospice South West’s (CHSW) Rainbow Run will be held at RAF St Mawgan on Saturday, June 15.
Anyone wishing to take part is urged to sign up quickly as ticket sales will end at midday on Thursday 13 June so anyone wishing to take part is being urged to sign up quickly.
The 5km sponsored fun run is making a return for the tenth year running, and it is set to be a big, colourful birthday celebration.
Kiley Pearce, the events fundraiser for CHSW, said: “Rainbow Run is such a fun event, it is a flat 5km route which people can walk, jog or run and along the way they will get covered in powder paint of all colours.
“We cannot wait to celebrate the 10th birthday of the event, with bucket loads of entertainment, cake, and even more paint as we have a brand new paint station colour, turquoise!”
Money raised by those taking part in the Rainbow Run will go towards the care and support provided to local children and families that use CHSW’s three children’s hospices, including Little Harbour in St Austell.
The event is being sponsored by Ann’s Cottage and anyone over the age of five can take part.
Around 1,300 people took part last year, raising £65,000 for CHSW.
Tickets are £20 for adults and £10 for children. Visit www.chsw.org.uk/rainbow
