Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) has re-opened it’s Penzance charity shop with a fresh new look.
The shop on Causewayhead has been given a complete makeover, and is completely open plan and spacious.
Area Retail Manager, Jerome Browne, said the improved layout would offer customers an enhanced shopping experience, as well as a better working environment for staff and volunteers.
“We are looking forward to welcoming back our lovely, local customers and donors here in Penzance after our amazing re-fit, the shop really looks fantastic,” said Jerome.
The shop has raised thousands of pounds to support local children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families.
Every item donated and sold helps to support the charity’s 3 children’s hospices - Little Bridge House in North Devon, Charlton Farm in North Somerset and Little Harbour in Cornwall.
Linda Ewing, Shop Manager, said: “The shop is already receiving good feedback after it’s makeover. We do hope people like it’s new look, and continue to support is in whatever way they can, whether it’s to shop, make a donation, volunteer or simply to pop in and say ‘hello’ to learn more about the charity.”
The shop is open Monday to Saturday, 9am-5pm, and Sunday, 10am-4pm.
Stock donations can also be dropped off during these times, and anyone with large quantities of donations is asked to phone ahead to let shop staff know they are coming. To donate to the shop either call 01736 363 721 or email [email protected].
