The substantial commercial property at Causewayhead in the pedestrianised precinct has a freehold guide of £120,000 to £150,000.

The property’s ground floor includes retail space and bakery production rooms with ancillary office, storage and former staff facilities located on the first floor.

The building is among 135 lots listed in the latest auction being held by one of the top five property auctioneers in the UK, Clive Emson Land and Property Auctioneers.

Auctioneer David Henwood said: “This is a substantial freehold property which has suffered some fire damage which has been confined to part of the property.

“It requires a comprehensive programme of improvement works although, alternatively, some parties may wish to consider a range of development schemes including sub-division or part conversion, subject to all the necessary consents.”
