NEWQUAY AFC has received a welcome change thanks to a new sponsor.

The outdated home changing room at the Mount Wise stadium have been given an upgrade by Perran Signs. The scheme includes improved water pressure and enhanced accessibility.

Chairman Jack Hunter said: “We are thrilled that thanks to the generous support of our new sponsor partners, Perran Signs, we have finally secured the necessary investment to upgrade the home changing rooms at Mount Wise.

“This long-awaited improvement is something many people will know has been a priority, as the facilities haven’t been properly maintained since 1980 and have not reflected the spirit of our club.

“However, with this recent investment and the tremendous fundraising efforts from our community, we've made significant progress.

“The upgrades will include improved water pressure and enhanced accessibility, ensuring a more welcoming environment for all.

“We are particularly excited for our five senior teams, who will soon have access to these much-improved facilities.

“This transformation wouldn't have been possible without the sponsorship and support from Perran Signs. On behalf of the committee and players, we extend a heartfelt thank you for helping us make this dream a reality.”

The first team players are also sporting a fresh new look after Mike Martin Windows sponsored brand-new tracksuits and training gear.

Jack said: “Thanks to their incredible support, the Peppermints will be looking sharp and feeling confident both on and off the pitch this season.

“The backing means a lot the players and club. We can't wait to show off our fresh new look.”
