A fashion designer who helps dress the stars has returned to her roots to open a new clothes shop and sewing studio in Newquay.
Robyn Lythe has unveiled Burnt Soul in Grosvenor Avenue where she creates and sells her fun wear and stage wear garments.
The talented seamstress has made catsuits for various A-list celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Margot Robbie, The Spice Girls and Paris Hilton.
Robyn will be hosting a grand refresh open day on Saturday, December 21.
Visitors will have the opportunity to stop by for mince pies, drinks, and a chance to explore the world of Burnt Soul by trying on some pieces and experience the colour and creativity firsthand.
Robyn said: “I have taken the leap and moved my sewing studio and my business, Burnt Soul Clothing from Bristol to Newquay, the town I’m lucky to call my hometown. I’m a proud Tretherras alumni.
“Burnt Soul started in Bristol 12 years ago as a small passion project, creating catsuits for friends heading to festivals.
“Since then, it’s grown into a thriving business specialising in bold, colourful stage and performance wear.
“Mostly people buy our pieces for festivals and fun activewear like skating, hooping, acrobatics, dance, performances etc. We do an adults range and kids range and sell to customers all over the world.
“I’ve had the incredible opportunity to dress stars like members of the Spice Girls, Miley Cyrus, Paris Hilton, and most recently, the cast of the BBC’s Gladiators reboot.
“All of which are now made in my new studio on Grosvenor Avenue.
“The pandemic and rising costs were certainly challenging, but they also sparked the idea to bring my business home to Cornwall, a dream I’ve had for years.
“Over the past few months, I’ve been transforming the old Luxon and Son’s office into a vibrant, leopard-print-adorned creative space that’s caught the eye of many locals. The response has been amazing.
“I’m really excited to be back in Newquay and to connect with the local community.”
