Rhys Wynne-Jones, also known as the ‘mystery Nightchurch pianist’, will be performing at the Old Chapel in Helston on Friday, February 7.

Rhys went viral on social media after playing Bohemian Rhapsody start to finish at St Mary's Church in January 2024 when he was homeless.

After being featured on national news outlets, Rhys organised a special concert at the church in response to his newfound fame, raising almost £2,000 for Nightchurch Penzance, an organisation that helps vulnerable and homeless people.

Since then, Rhys has performed at venues across Cornwall and beyond, most notably a sell-out concert at Truro Cathedral.

To date his fundraising for local charities has reached over £16,000. He strongly believes in using his musical talents to help others, despite his own circumstances.

This is an evening of laughs, stories and a wide range of music including classical, film scores, chart hits, Disney and more.
