PEOPLE are being invited to celebrate the Big South West Cream Tea in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) which runs the Little Harbour hospice at St Austell.

Area fundraiser for CHSW Amanda Masters said: “Sharing a cream tea is a simple pleasure many of the families supported by Children’s Hospice South West look forward to.

“The charity is encouraging supporters to take part in its Big South West Cream Tea to help raise vital funds for children and young people living with life-limiting conditions.

“These donations could help to fund experiences, like gathering together for a delicious cream tea in the hospice gardens, and make memories for families.

“Now is the perfect time of year to have a cream tea - we would love for people to host one and raise money for us.

“It costs nothing to sign up and by hosting or taking part in a cream tea event, you raise money for families and help make the most of short and precious lives.

“The fundraising pack contains everything you need to host the perfect, summery cream tea, including invites and recipes.
