A women was trapped in her car after it flipped on its side following a two-car crash that took place on Penwartha Road in Illogan at 9.10am this morning (August 12).
The woman, who is believed to have not sustained any serious injuries, was safely removed from the overturned vehicle which had flipped into a hedge and trapping the driver.
Ambulance and fire crews attended the scene to help remove the driver from her car, with the police closing Basset Road so that the two vehicles involved could be recovered.
No reported injuries at this time.
