Truro City Council will host this year’s annual bonfire and fireworks display at Tremorvah Playing Field on Friday, November 3.
Gates will open at 5pm. The bonfire will be lit at 6.30 pm, followed by the fireworks display at 7pm.
Entry is £3 per adult and £1 per child (under-16). Refreshments will also be available to purchase on-site. Please be aware that this is a cash only event.
Access to the playing field is from the bottom of Bodmin Road, through Monterey Gardens or via Trevithick Close.
All profits from the event will be donated to Cornwall Air Ambulance, the chosen charity of city mayor Cllr Carol Swain. “I would like to thank staff from the city council and Visit Truro for helping to organise the event, CHBN Radio for their support and members of the 18th Truro Sea Scouts who will be providing the food,” she said.
Further information is available from the Visit Truro website www.visittruro.org.uk
The event will be weather dependent so please check social media @visittruro and @trurocitycouncil for updates.
