OFFICERS are seeking witnesses following a collision near St Buryan which left a cyclist seriously injured.
Police were called to Treen, on the B3315 near St Buryan at around 1.40pm yesterday (Sunday, October 27) to reports of a collision involving a camper van and a cyclist.
The cyclist, a man in his 50’s from Penzance, suffered serious injuries and was flown to Derriford hospital by Air Ambulance.
The road was closed for five hours to allow officers to carry out investigations.
Officers investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision have thanked members of public that stopped to help at the scene.
Police have asked that if anyone may have dashcam footage or information that could assist investigations to contact them online or by calling 101, quoting log 480 of 27/10/24.
