Armed with an extensive back catalogue of tracks that is set to take fans on a six-album discography journey.

No strangers to Cornwall having recorded their debut album I Should Coco at Sawmills Studio in Fowey back in 1994, Supergrass will be returning to the southwest coast to headline festival proceedings on Saturday evening.

Having scored five top 10 albums, six, if you include a greatest hits, and among them three platinum sellers plus 10 top 20 singles with ‘Alright’ catapulting the band to global success.

In the 13 years between their first album and their last, Supergrass were chased down the street by fans in Japan, scored the biggest-selling debut for Parlophone since The Beatles, helicoptered into Glastonbury, turned down a Calvin Klein pants ad, toured the world on their own and supported everyone from Blur and Arctic Monkeys to Foo Fighters, Radiohead and The Cure.

Other big hits from one of the most important bands to have emerged from the 1990s include ‘Pumping On Your Stereo’, ‘Mansize Rooster’, ‘Moving’, ‘Grace’ and ‘Petersburg’.

Festivalgoers looking to discover new musical talent can also expect performances from up-and-coming artists at the BBC Introducing Stage found in the woodland.

Back by popular demand, the Supersized Silent Disco will once again bring its late-night vibes to the main stage for those looking to extend festival celebrations. Partygoers can expect to see DJs battling it out as glowing headphones light up the dancefloor.

More than just music, The Great Estate will also take guests on an immersive adventure of theatre, comedy and dance as the picturesque estate comes to life with stilt walkers, fire dancers, actors and performers.

Literacy buffs can wander through the old walled gardens to discover guest speakers talking amongst the blooms, while those looking for side-splitting humour can familiarise themselves with the comedians onsite.

For added indulgence, foodies can join one of the many festival feasts that will be hosted each evening by a guest chef from across the county. Served on long tables in front of the beautiful manor house, this communal al fresco dining experience is set to tantalise taste buds with locally sourced produce and catch of the day.

Wellness sessions are programmed throughout the three-day event with guests also encouraged to pencil in some time to relax around the estate’s very own swimming pool. Wood-fired sauna sessions and refreshing dips are bookable extras that are guaranteed to rejuvenate.

Festival revellers can expect surprise guests roaming around the grounds, from giant bumble bees to electric pink flamingos, as well as circus workshops and craft sessions for the little ones, a Victorian Sports Day, and all-round family-friendly vibes.
