CORNWALL’S first coastal aparthotel is set to open in Porth in October.

SeaSpace will be unveiled on the site of the former Sands Resort Hotel.

Staying guests can book into one of 56 self-catering spaces, with studios and two or three-bedroom apartments.

There will be a host of activities and facilities including a new five-court padel tennis club plus a café, deli, gym, swimming pools, fitness classes, water sports and children’s play areas, plus a full programme of arts, music and foodie events.

A café and deli in the vibrant lobby area will serve up breakfast, lunch and snacks, while the bar and restaurant will offer small plates for sharing.
