Truro councillor and former mayor Steven Webb reached Land’s End this evening during his 500-mile circumnavigation of Cornwall.
Steven, who was left paralysed following a diving accident 33 years ago, has completed the North Cornwall coastline and is now more than halfway round his route, raising over £5,000 via JustGiving and en-route collection for the Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust’s #heli2 fundraising appeal.
In a social media post from West Penwith on Monday afternoon, he said: “It’s a beautiful day, my body’s been good to me, my chair’s been good to me and I’m raising money for charity. I can’t imagine life being any better than this.”
