STAFF at a Newquay care agency are celebrating after winning prestigious awards.

Heather Broderick and Kerra Geach, who work for Peace Haven Care at Trenissick Lane, received accolades at the Proud to Care Awards.

Kerra was awarded community newcomer of the year and Heather the community carer of the year at the awards, which celebrate the outstanding contributions of those in Cornwall’s independent adult social care sector.

Peace Haven Care as a company has also recently won domiciliary care agency of the year 2024 at the UK Enterprise Awards and most trusted personal care agency award for 2024.

Beth Pearce from Peace Haven said: “Staff are delighted our efforts are being recognised.

“Peace Haven Care isn’t even three years old yet and we now have four company trophies and two individual staff awards.”
