A Newquay community space dedicated to promoting physical and mental well-being has expanded to offer a wellness space.

The Feel Good Building in Pargolla Road now offers integrated movement and wellness with Ananta Sala Movement's new Calisthenics studio and Saunassa Nordic Spa.

Ananta Yoga Studio, has been located at The Feel Good Building for the past two years, has recently transformed to include Callisthenics in its offerings. With the newly purpose-built SALA HQ studio around the back of the building, it boasts the only bespoke Calisthenics rig set up in Newquay.

The new addition features top facilitators specialising in movement, enhancing the studio's range of Yoga, Pilates, and Breathwork sessions.

Saunassa Nordic Spa, which opened in January 2024, complements the movement studio by providing a serene environment for relaxation and rejuvenation.

Guests can start their mornings with a community sauna and cold bath session, and in the evenings, enjoy the warm ambiance of wood-fired hot tubs.

The spa features a spacious wood-fired sauna, three ice baths with varying temperatures, and two large wood-fired hot tubs, making it a perfect retreat after a fulfilling workout.

Jack Burlison, the founder of SALA, said: "Combining movement and wellness is at the heart of what we do.

“With the addition of our bespoke Callisthenics rig, we now offer a full spectrum of movement, breathwork, and hot and cold therapy. Our goal is to create a space where people can enhance their physical health and then unwind and recover in our Nordic spa. It's a holistic approach to wellness that we believe will benefit the community greatly.”

The Feel Good Building is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle by offering a seamless transition from movement to relaxation. The integration of these two elements in one location ensures that visitors can maximise the benefits of their wellness routines without the need to travel between different venues. It is the only facility in Newquay to offer such a comprehensive range of wellness services under one roof.

In addition to its wellness offerings, the Feel Good Building provides shared office spaces, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among local residents.
