CHBN, Truro's Community and Hospital Radio Service, is holding an online Easter auction.
A selection of items are on offer, which have been donated by members and supporters. There are over 100 to choose from, mostly with no reserves and only a few with a very low starting point.
All money raised from the auction will raise funds to support the continued development of CHBN's valued radio service.
A spokesperson from CHBN said: “You will see a variety of items for sale - lots and lots in fact. You name it, it is there. Things useful, things ornamental, for fun or for health, items frivolous and even collectable.
“If you are thinking of offering an Easter gift to family or friends, why not make a change from a chocolate egg? Our auction gives better value with fewer calories. Once you have made your choice, make your bid.”
CHBN hope that the auction will allow the station to have a more powerful transmitter, something that is on their wish list.
The spokesperson adds: “Although the reach of Ofcom's licence on 100.8 FM is to five miles of the Royal Cornwall Hospital, sometimes Truro's uneven geography means there are patches where reception is poor.
“As the Station's output prioritises matters of health and wellbeing, we are anxious to widen our reach in the community. We ask you, please, to place your bids.”
The auction closes on Easter Monday (April 21) at one second before midnight. Whoever places the highest bid will be contacted to arrange for payment and collection.
The station's auction is now live on their website at: www.chbnradio.org/auction
CHBN is on air 24/7 on 100.8 FM and online at www.chbnradio.org. It can be accessed in hospital using the NHS wi-fi, and from the CHBN Radio App.
