A charity that injects funds into Newquay Community Hospital is staging its annual general meeting.
The Friends of Newquay Hospital will stage the gathering at the Penrithan bungalow next door to Newquay Hospital on Wednesday, July 24, at 10am.
Chair Andrea Hall said: “If you would like to become a member or join our volunteers for this very worthwhile charity we would love to meet you.
“We have our own premises and let the NHS hold daily clinic for the community as well as raise funds to buy equipment for the hospital and district nurses.
“We also run our own coffee shop which serves homemade sandwiches, cakes, refreshments, crisps and chocolate. Come and visit.
“We are always grateful for unwanted gifts birthday and Christmas, clean, tidy books and jigsaws.
“The Friends is a long stand Newquay charity and without the support of our local community we could not do everything we do for our local hospital, our district nurse, and run our bungalow supporting NHS clinics in Newquay.
“If you would like to speak to a member of the volunteers to see what we do and how we support Newquay Hospital, and the district nurses please contact 07914 535967.”
